The day started badly, I was nervous particularly about meeting Anthony as its something I 've wanted for a long time, so I was being a bitch to my friend Elspeth who was wonderful and supportive, then the cab driver didn't know where he was going, then we got o the theater and I was looking round and staring at something without even realising that Anthony was 2 inches away from me being mobbed, so i turned and saw him and because i was so unprepared i just walked away and the kicked myself for doing it although im glad now because he was busy and it was clear the people around him were annoying him, they were all in tears and tying to take pictures when he said he had to go, so anyway then my tape recorder f*cks up so i cant make bootlegs. Thats all the bad stuff, we had great seats in basically the third row because the 1st row is really short. Most people there were american and hadn't seen the show before but had heard the soundtrack so all the way through i lead the screaming, clapping and mooing, but i got a kick out of that.

Anthony rocked! his energy never fails to amaze me,, and the expression in his voice, he just gets better! I checked out what water he was drinking due to the big debate we had a while ago, and apparently its Naya or whatever they drink in the Toronto production.

Tune ups were good, it was obvious that Adam and Roger were enjoying working off each other again, Benny has long dreads and is handsome but a little bit quiet, i sometimes lost what he was saying, Jesse was fab! When Anth threw down the key it didn't go into the audience he just dropped it into a saucer or something. Rent blew the roof off, nothing special except it was Nth and Adam and it was amazing! It was during Joannes first bit that i realized she was going to be good, she is thinnish with gappy teeth, a voice like the best bits of fredi and Gwen and a good actress.

Glory, Adam sure has his voice back, this was better than i ever heard it, really really good vocally and emotionally and he just put so much into it, it was one of the best songs in the show. OOh i missed you ok honey, Jesse was so funny, wiggling his glasses on "indeed" and i realized how much i missed Wilsons little squeaks on "oh! we'll get along fine!"

WYLMC Krysten looked a little harsh with her hair tied back, but performance wise, she was really great, MUCH better than i expected and i would say as good as Daphne although they are really different in interpreting the roles, Krystens is more angry. Also she sings "candle" low. I loved the expressions and Adam didn't put the handcuffs above his head but out in front of him.they looked really cute together and Krysten does look really young (like 16) the audience loved it!

T4U Anthony caught every item dropped...then Wilson entered and stole the show, he was really great, i liked Wilson Cruz but WJH is so much better he dances more and just has more expression and reaction, he dropped one of his drumsticks but hardly anyone noticed because he covered it really well. He was doing some new things with his voice adding twiddles (so technical) and everything worked great.

You'll see Boys, Benny shone in this one, great timing and everything although he was just off a few cues.

Tango Maureen was the best i had ever seen or heard, Jacqui Dubois is a fantastic Joanne and i think Tango Maureen has changed, they use the whole stage and she drops him right in the middle, i don't know, maybe my memory is lacking but it was truly great!

Life support, i couldn't see any of it from where i was but it sounded good, Gordon doesn't quite have the accent right but sings great, Adam had tears in his eyes for "reason says".

Out tonight blew me away, i thought Krysten was going to kill herself the amount of bar work she did, humping it, lying on it and basically swinging all over it and she never missed a note! respect to her! She really has the attitude down! Anther Day, Adam's voice was a little lacking in power during this and i didn't feel like Krysten was in his face enough but it was still a really good number I think Krysten almost slipped while crawling along the table once but she saved herself!

Will I-Rob who plays Steve has massive dreads and is a rastafarian i think, he has a beautiful voice which you could hear clearly all the way through.

On the street, good, couldn't see the cops clearly so I'm not sure who they were, Bag Lady was good but needs more attitude, we english are just too polite!(j/k).

Santa Fe, they really had fun with this, its was like you could tell the OBC were enjoying doing it again! I'll cover you was soo sweet Jesse made it funny and real all at once, especially their little dance "Heeeeey girl, where'd you learn to dance that way baaaaby!" for me it was just, this is how it is meant to be!

I m going to start leaving out a few numbers just because theres nothing new to say.

Over the moon, So funny, Jessica as maureen has this great cow voice when she is "being" Elsie, so every word sounds like a big moo "weee aaare fooooorbidden toooooo prooooduuuuce milk in cyyyber land!" it has me in stitches but when she did moo with me she was like Lets hear the back of the theater moo, now the middle, whatever, i dont like that because its not supposed to be a theatre really and saying that takes away from it i think, but she is good. For the record she has long blonde hair, a big nose and is pretty. I saw the shadow of her legs but there isn't a shadow of angel, mark or anyone in between them, everyone else is around the sides :o(

La vie Boheme really really really good, not the best i have seen it but almost, you know, adam threw his pick right out in the opposite direction from me, Wilson and Krysten we climbing all over each other and giggling during "to leather" During "mucho masturbation anthony was tweaking his nipples, i haven't seen that before, does he usually do it? It was really funny because there were so many new people all doing their own little grooves it was hard to know who to watch, Ant and Wilson took up most of my attention tho!

Seasons of love was great, Anthony looked at me a few times, he was right in front of me and i had to force myself to look at other people so he wouldn't think i was totally staring! Rachels solo was AT LEAST as good as Gwens, i loved it and everyone went wild when she hit the high!

Happy new year rocked, Adam and Krysten were making each other giggle so they could hardly get out the "plan/spiderman" bit When Joanne brought out the rope,Mark, Joanne and Maureen just left the stage and walked up the back stairs i guess, they didn't try to throw it anywhere. Maureens cat suit gets more exaggerated with every different cast i think, the
ears she wears are huge and the pvc trousers are flares! The drug pusher guy is a little cartoony so its hard to believe he is being serious.

Take me or leave me was just about perfect they were practically screaming at each other and it went great but Maureen hit a really bad note at the end. jessica is no KLK but she is good.

Without you-beautiful, i LOVE the wy Krysten does it, its so touching and her and Adams voices mix well, i loved it!

The girl who played Alexi is my only real criticism about the show, she go her inflection wrong, her timing wrong and generally sounded bad, she also left no time for reaction before she said just kidding. bad.

Contact, i think Wilson has changed his dance, the words are certainly different than the tape although i cant remember what he did on Bway, its still brilliant though, Jesse didn't get any free corn!

Jesses eyes were full of tears for ICU ad all you could hear were people crying, i think this is the best i have seen, really sad but Maureen and Joannes bit at the end seemed a little fake.

Just to catch up with what ive left out, In OTC mark says "smile for CNN" in HNY he says "cant take new jersey out of the girl" and at angels funeral its statue of liberty not circle line.

Halloween, wow, so much power in it, that's all i have to say, great.

Goodbye love made my eyes well up, it was really moving and Adam and Krysten were crying, almost the best ive seen.

What you own-just about too good to comment on, timed and sung perfectly, and by Ant and Adam!!!! WOW!

Your Eyes, although i don't think this song is great, Adam made it sound great today he was really on form, especially in the songs like Glory and your eyes, the quieter ones. Krysten was great, i almost felt like she wasn't going to wake up and when she did it was convincing that she had been ill, it wasn't dead one minute, hyperactive the next.

Finale, i hated it, but only because i knew it meant it was over.  Altogether the show was even better than i expected and i expected a lot, standing ovation (of course!)

After the show we went round to stage door. I met this guy, Nathan who i had mailed through sonic, he was really nice and took his picture with me! Jesse came out but he was mobbed so i got krysten to sign my teddybear, she seemed really touched by everyone telling her how good she was (and she really was!) then i took my bear for jesse to sign, i had made a little rent tee shirt for it and Jesse held it up and shouted for everyone to look at the rent bear! Then he signed its butt!

I went and spoke to Adam and asked if it was true that he had been signed (because i only skimmed y mail so i wasnt sure) and he said yes after he signed my bear and gave me a big smile but then he was mobbed by congratulations so i did'nt speak to him anymore, i spoke to Anthony and asked him to sign my bear, i said Jesse signed his butt and he went "ooh, i want to sign its butt too!" so my poor bear has two names on its butt now, i asked Anth for a hug and he gave me one then looked at me funny and said "I never thought english people gave hugs, just joking" he was sweet, so i turned round and caught part of a conversation Wilson was having, someone said "you're the best angel" and he said "I'm the first angel! who have you seen" so they said him and Wilson Cruz and i said me too and then we got into a conversation about Shaun earl who is
Wilsons friend and who Wilson says is great, he was in this huge fur coat and someone asked is it was real while he signed my bear so he went, "its fake, dont kill animals!...except cows for leather!" I was wearing a fur too and he asked if it was real so i said no, and showed him i had a fake dalmatian fur trim on my skirt too so he goes "i like your style girl!" I told him id be there on Saturday i hoped and he said "well i hope ill be here too!"

I spoke to Rachel who played the bag lady and she was in awe of all the people wanting photos autographs and stuff, she said it was good to talk to another english person (almost everyone there was american) and i asked if it was easy to hit the high note so she told me she was terrified of missing it so she stands in the wings screaming all interval! She is really nice. No one else came out except Jessica (maureen) who just ran round to the front of the theatre but i will be back on Saturday (hopefully with a working tape recorder) and it was just such a great day today, im so happy. Ill be amazed if anyone has read this far, im tired so its pretty haphazard, its now almost 4 am and sorry if i sound like a mad newbie but i never met the cast when i saw it in NY so it meant a whole lot to me!
