9/25/02 bob died last friday. bob, who helped so much during dickie's dying. his funeral is this weekend.

i'll miss you, my friend.  you were an angel to us, more helpful and loving a friend than i could possibly imagine someone could be.  Godspeed.  i'm glad you two are finally together again. give each other a hug for me.

this is not nearly enough of a tribute, but its all i can say right now.

the pandemic continues.

9/11/02 a day of remembrance.  for all those lost. for all their families. for all those who worked so hard.  for all of us as a nation.

9/8/02 i'm stealing from michael's talk tomorrow at USC, but i know he won't mind (and in fact will be greatly in favor of it.)

"Despite the impresive advances in  medicine, HIV/AIDS is likely to surpass the Black Death as the worst pandemic ever."

Peter Lamptey, President,
 Family Health International  AIDS Institute

does anyone care anymore?  i do, and my friends care. have you ever read about the black plague?  saying this pandemic surpasses that is... horrific. the majority of people i work with are so.... untouched, unconcerned, unreachable.  maybe it will jell when it hits one of their own. i hope it doesn't.

9/2/02 happy weekend (is it labor day or memorial day weekend?  i dunno - i had to work).

but i pulled some pics off broadway.com about RENT and joey.  i got lazy tho so that 2nd page of pictures may be tough to download if you're on a slow connection.  and i still *adore* maggie's hair :-)
