more randomness.   kind of to at least get *my* mind off the most recent shootings.  roberta wrote a really good message to the TLS list about that. i'm not going to post it cuz it was sent to a semi-private list, but it expressed alot of people's sentiments.  we're tired of all this discrimination and hate. this particular incident was aimed specifically at jews, was carried out against jewish children, and it makes me ill.

Here are the specifics:

MTV World AIDS Day Short Film Contest

Two winning entries will be aired on MTV.  One winner will also take home $2500.

Submit a 2-4 minute film about how HIV/AIDS has affected your life or the life of someone you know.  Or make the film a statement conveying your feelings on the issue.   Submissions can be on VHS, ¾", or Beta.  Make sure you name, address, age and phone number are clearly labeled on the tape and on an enclosed piece of paper.
