All-star gala to benefit Being Alive/Los Angeles
and HIV/AIDS services at L.A. Gay & Lesbian Center

Honoring composers Charles Strouse, Arthur Schwartz and Stephen Schwartz

The world's longest running AIDS benefit presents its 16th annual benefit honoring the memorable works of these legendary Broadway composers: Charles Strouse (Annie, Applause, Bye Bye Birdie; All American Golden Boy; The Hunchback of Notre Dame (film); It's a Bird, It's a Plane; It's Superman, Nick and Nora), Stephen Schwartz (Godspell; The Magic Show; Pippin; Pocahontas (film); The Prince of Egypt (film)), and Arthur Schwartz (The Band Wagon; The Gay Life; Jennie, A Tree Grows in Brooklyn). Performances are scheduled for March 1 and 2, 2000 @ 8:00pm, and Sunday March 3, 2000 @ 3:00pm.

The venue is the intimate Luckman Theatre @ Cal State LA, with tix priced @ $30, $60, $100, $150. Silent Auction at each performance featuring fantastic theatrical memorabilia!
